Help us recycle 500 lbs. or 40,500 plastic film bags for a chance for us to receive a Trex bench as part of the NexTrex community recycling program. Claytor Lake State Park has partnered with FOCL for this recycling opportunity. Please refer to the flyer (PDF) for a list of items that are accepted.
The plastic film recycling bin is situated in front of the Water's Edge Meeting Facility located at 6596 Ben H. Bolen Dr., Dublin, VA 24084. The bin is accessible during park hours 6 a.m.- 10 p.m. A $7 daily parking fee is required to enter the park; however, guests who only wish to drop off plastic film recycling items do not have to pay the daily parking fee. If an attendant is on duty at the Contact Station, please identify you're recycling plastic bags.
