Belle Isle State Park is offering its summer Junior Ranger program for youth ages 6 to 9 on August 1, 2 and 3, 2022 and ages 10 to 14 on August 8, 9 and 10, 2022. This year’s theme for both sessions is “Wild for Wetlands” with the program designed to introduce participants to the people, animals and habitats within in the Chesapeake Bay watershed through natural, historical and cultural resources and ways they can protect and preserve it.

Programs begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon. A fee of $6 per day includes all materials for programs.

Participants who complete all three days will receive an official Junior Ranger certificate. Space is limited and advance registration is required. To register or for additional information, please call the park at 804-462-5030.
