Want to cool off from the heat of summer and learn about the health the New River. Come out to the lower boat ramp at Foster Falls and wade through the river shallows while looking for creatures that can tell us how healthy the river's ecosystem is. Be sure to bring water, closed toed water shoes, and clothes that can get wet.
