Appomattox Anglers

Join a ranger under High Bridge for a relaxing evening of fishing. Limited bait and poles will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. If you miss the 6 pm start time at Camp Paradise parking access, you can still join the fun by taking a left onto High Bridge Trail from the sidewalk joining it to the parking lot, and then taking the next right onto Camp Paradise Trail which leads down to the Appomattox River. The hike to the river is roughly a half mile. DWR fishing regulations will be followed: children under the age of 16 are not required to have a fishing license and participants aged 16 or older are required to have a freshwater fishing license unless exempt by law.
