In honor of National Public Lands Day, we invite you to join our Stewardship Saturday crew as we unite efforts to re-vitalize the Red Knob Overlook on Blue Ridge Trail. This is a beautiful spot about halfway along the four mile trail. We will conduct trail maintenance, cut and manage overgrowth, assess trail damage and erosion spots, and ensure overgrowth hasn't eclipsed the view around Red Knob. The main event hours will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., but feel free to join us anytime before noon.

Kids, families, couples, individuals, are all welcome. Bring your own water, snacks, gloves, and any trail maintenance tools you prefer. Wear closed-toed shoes as there will be a hike to get to Red Knob. We will provide orange vests and maintenance tools. No entrance fee applies for those volunteering their time and efforts to Natural Bridge State Park.
