Summertime is fast approaching and the birds are out and about, hustling and bustling, all in an effort to be "that early bird who gets the worm" especially in the morning. This special birding tour along the Rock Spring Pond trail is designed to introduce the birds of Westmoreland State Park. Birders can expect to see various woodland songbirds like warblers, titmice, vireos, flycatchers, woodpeckers, and more.  Birds of the park do not know they are scheduled to make any appearances!

Participants should bring water, some type of guide book or birding app, and binoculars. The Rock Spring Pond trail is a mostly paved 1.2 mile roundtrip.
