National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest, single‐day volunteer effort for public lands and works to connect people to public lands in their community, inspire environmental stewardship, and encourage use of public lands for education, recreation, and general health. Celebrate the day at Twin Lakes State Park by helping keep the park beautiful by ridding it of litter. Meet at the concession stand to pick up a trash grabber and bag or bucket any time between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
