This program is designed to be a special introduction to oysters as well as a beginners guide to appreciate oysters in our Virginia waters. What do you know about oysters? Have you ever eaten an oyster? Do you know how many gallons a single oyster can filter in a day? Are you familiar with triploid, diploid, or hybrid oysters?
When you attend this program you will walk away quite impressed by these small bivalves.
Participants should meet at the day-use area by the boathouse.
