Catch a glimpse of this extraordinary event where you can see a meteor a minute.

Join a ranger at night fall and watch the magical event know as Eta Aquariid Meteor Shower. In the dark skies of the park you should be able to see roughly a meteor per minute with the naked eye. This event is free, but space is limited. Please call ahead to register.

Attendees will meet at the Oxbow Center parking lot and then be transported to the top of Sugar Hill. There, you will have access to telescopes and the park ranger on hand will guide your journey through the meteors and stars.
