Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Visitor Center

When

June 1, 2024. 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Join the ranger on land and walk the shorelines to help clean litter (perfect for families with young children that want to lend a hand) or dock your boat at our Visitor Center (VC docks are south of the swimming beach) and we'll provide trash bags to each boat, canoe, kayak or SUP to help us clean from the water.
At Noon we'll meet back at the Visitor Center to collect all the filled trash bags and share the weirdest thing you found.
So grab some friends and form a team or just come on your own - all volunteers are welcome. This event is perfect for Youth Groups, Scout Groups and counts towards required volunteer hours.

For more information on how you can help, check out: Clean the Bay Day

Comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes and a water bottle are recommended.
