In this introduction class, learn how to prepare for the trails from fitting and packing your pack, clothing, stoves and cooking methods, water filtration, sleeping systems, Leave No Trace techniques, basic first aid, and trip planning.

Suzanne "Eagle Eye" Neal is an avid outdoorswoman spending most of her free time hiking. She graduated with a degree in Horticulture from Virginia Tech and went on to become a seasonal Ridge Runner for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. In the off-season, she works for Walkabout Outfitter as their Blacksburg location
