Westmoreland State Park is officially inviting our visitors from ages 4+ to accept the challenge of completing their Junior Ranger Handbook, to make their environmental stewardship pledge, and to earn their badge!

Explore. Learn. Protect.

The Junior Ranger program is a wonderful site specific and self-guided activity booklet that allows kids and families the opportunity to uniquely explore and learn about their public lands, specific state and national parks, and how they can help protect those places today and into the future.

Participants can complete the pages suggested at the top of each page for their age group: 1 shark tooth icon indicates ages 5 and up, 2 shark teeth icons indicate ages 8 and up, and 3 shark teeth icons indicate ages 10 and up.

Rangers are available within the Discovery Center for any questions you may have, to sign off on certain pages, and to help and assist with activities.
