The Visitor Center, which houses the Nature Center, allows you to grab a map, see native wildlife, and fill up on souvenirs and snacks before you hit the trails. You can also get up close and personal with some of the critters that call Pocahontas home in the Nature Center.
Know Before You Go: The Discovery Center, housed inside of the Visitor Center, is closed. The Visitor Center is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Please visit Recreate Responsibly at Virginia State Parks.
