Jan. 1, 2022. 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Park will offer a variety of opportunities to get out and welcome the new year.

9 a.m. – First Day 5k: Start 2022 off with a group trail run at Natural Tunnel. This will be a fun and casual run, all paces are welcome.

Tunnel Vision

Bring in the New Year by joining a ranger on a guided hike to view both sides of the Natural Tunnel. Wear sturdy shoes, bring along hiking sticks if you prefer, and don’t forget your camera. Both hikes will start and end at the Visitor Center.

11 a.m. – View the South Portal: Round trip, this hike is 0.6 miles on the Tunnel Trail. This hike includes stairs and an uphill climb on our way back from the Tunnel.

1p.m. – View the North Portal: Round trip, this hike is 1 mile on a portion of the Stock Creek Trail. This hike will be moderate with a gradual incline.
