Stargazing at Widewater!

Nov. 27, 2021. 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Come see Widewater when the sun goes down. Join the Northern Virginia Astronomy Club and use their telescopes to see the stars. Visitors can expect to see view celestial objects through telescopes like planets, star clusters, and nebulae. Come dressed appropriately for the weather. Feel free to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on, as well as your own telescope or binoculars for viewing.

For lighting, visitors should use red headlamps or flashlights covered with red cellophane wrapping. The park will have some red cellophane to share.
