Staunton River Battlefield State Park

Staunton River Battlefield has features that make it a good place for birding. There's a large wetland area that attracts birds throughout the year. Also, there's an observation platform at the wetlands that allows people a good view. Trails along large open fields also allow guests proximity to habitat for songbirds and raptors.
