Virginia Silver Jackets Team

The Silver Jackets program brings together staff from multiple federal, state and local agencies, and sometimes tribal agencies, to form an interdisciplinary team that addresses flood risk. Virginia’s Silver Jackets team is led by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Norfolk District and DCR's floodplain management staff and includes members from other USACE districts, FEMA, USGS, NWS, NRCS and VDEM.
