When

April 20, 2024. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Step back to 1774 when America was a loosely connected group of English colonies and learn about the events that would unite many of them. Guests have several opportunities to become immersed in the happenings of the day and gain insights into the experiences of the English colonists. Join Samuel Adams in a Massachusetts tavern as he airs his grievances against the King. Visit the King's Warehouse full of lumber, tobacco, indigo, whale oil, and other exports from the "New World" heading to England and talk to the English guards about the importance of the crown. Sneak off to the Secret Smuggler's Warehouse to find cheap underground imports.

There will be candle making, salt production and tool crafting demonstrations for our "time-travelers" to experience along with colonial merchants selling wares.

Parking will be in the Picnic Area. For more information, please call 276-940-2696.
