When

April 24, 2024. 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Join the rangers of Occoneechee State Park this Earth Day as we work to enhance the habitat of our historic Terrace Gardens for our pollinator friends. Spend the day giving back to nature by planting native pollinator species and removing invasive species from the historic gardens. Volunteers of this event will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of pollinators in the local community, gain knowledge of species identification, and assist our park rangers in creating habitat within the park.

Please be aware this will be an outdoor activity. Dress for the weather, wear closed toed shoes, sunscreen, and bring a refillable water bottle. Work gloves and any needed tools will be provided.
