Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Are you looking to do some good for the Chesapeake Bay watershed and our planet this weekend before Earth Day? Join us at Belle Isle State Park! If you want to strike out on your own down a trail, you can pick up trash bags and gloves at the Camp Store or Visitor Center between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. We will also meet at the Camp Store at 10 a.m. for a group shoreline and trail clean-up on the Watch House trail.
Wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes and bring your reusable water bottle and bug spray.
