Virginia State Parks (December 12, 2015 10:23:25 AM): It is a unique and beautiful place. If you are not sure about the isolation and primitive aspects of an overnight stay, come out for the day for one of our programs that include transportation to at least see the park and enjoy the special place it holds in our Virginia State Parks. Thanks Anna!

Anna (December 12, 2015 07:22:15 AM): I have camped at False Cape numerous times over the past 15 + years. It is my favorite Virginia State Park. It's stunningly beautiful, refreshingly wild, incredibly peaceful, and wonderfully surrounded by water. I have kayaked in, biked in, and hiked in to the park. Biking in is the easiest, kayaking in is the funnest. False Cape is a treasure that I hope is protected and cherished for years to come. It offers a rare opportunity to enjoy some of Virginia's finest outdoor scenery. I highly recommended a visit and even better - an overnight in the park.
