This National Trails Day, come on out to Chippokes and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and the life of trees with special guests and Virginia Master Naturalists, Scott Detar and Jeff Owens. Scott and Jeff will lead visitors along the Chippoax Trace Trail as they identify tree species and help others learn how to do so.

Chippoax Trace Trail is 1 mile long.

Please park at the Chippoax Trace parking lot.

Visitors follow a ranger along the trail as species are identified in the trees
