Put away your smartphone and plot a course for adventure with this introduction to the sport of orienteering. The Let's Go Adventure staff will show you the basics of reading maps, pacing distances, and navigating cross country! All equipment is provided.
This is a free program offered at Widewater State Park. Daily parking fee is still required.
The age requirement is 16 years and older. This 1-2 hour program is limited to 20 participants. Registration is required for this program. You can register here.
On the date of the program, you must check in at the front desk inside the Visitor's Center where the ranger on duty will sign you in and direct you to where the program is being held. Make sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes!
