May 4, 2024. 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Spring has SPRUNG, and with it comes the much-anticipated arrival of candy-colored visitors from the tropics! Winter migrants have flown back up north, while the year-round residents are already raising their young. Take a guided walk with a ranger alongside meadow and forest to find out who is out and about.

Bring plenty of water and binoculars if you have them. If not, we do have a few pairs that can be borrowed. See attached file for a bird checklist to print at home. The walk will be up to one mile at an easy pace on easy to  moderate terrain. The trail can be muddy at times, so dress accordingly.

If you're like us and you can't get enough birds, come to the Bird Blitz on May 11th for birding walks, bird crafts, naturalist talks, native plant give-aways and nest box raffles.
