When visiting the park in November, Ranger by Request programs gives families or groups a chance to engage in fun activities in the fall/winter season.
These programs are offered for a minimum of 5 and a maximum group size of 12.
Time slots vary between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Most programs last about one hour.

Stampmill Sam's Gold Adventure runs for two hours and is offered only when weather and trail conditions allow.
First-come-first, served. Please choose only ONE program per day.

Pre-registration required - To request a ranger please call (540) 854-6245 and leave a message. Please provide your phone number, number in your group, and a contact phone number. Meeting location will be provided during registration confirmation.
Please, pre-register at least TWO days before your requested date. Exact change is requested. Ranger do not carry change.
