Celebrate National Public Lands Day by helping to restore a legacy long since forgotten. Volunteer in a rehabilitation project that will restore the posseclay interpretive area back to its former glory. We will be clearing viewsheds, building water access steps, and restoring a shelter that had been claimed by the wilderness for the past decade. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to make your mark and leave behind a new legacy for future generations to enjoy. Plan on getting a little dirty, bring a refillable water bottle, and wear closed toed shoes. This project is for all ages we have tasks for the young and the wise. Snacks and drinks will be provided, as well as a water cooler filled with ice cold H20. Special programming will be provided following the volunteer event.
