Nature Journaling Makerspace

Embrace your creativity by exploring unique connections to the natural and historic elements of the park through this dynamic art program *Pre-registration recommended. Participants will get to take close looks at natural and historic objects, learning about the objects’ stories while investigating texture, color, and shape. Using these objects and their own interpretations, participants will then be able to create a six page nature journal with mixed sketch and watercolor mediums. Recommended for participants ages 8+. 

*All materials provided. Program supplies will accommodate up to 25 participants per program. Pre-registration is recommended to guarantee supplies for yourself and/or your group, otherwise it is first come first serve. Call the office at (804) 642-2419 to pre-register.
