It's National Public Lands Day and we are looking for volunteers to help maintain the 9 miles of trails at Belle Isle State Park! We'll work in groups to collect trash, trim back limbs and spot invasive species. Tools and trash bags will be provided, but please make sure to wear closed toed shoes, bring your work gloves, sunscreen, bug spray, and a reusable water bottle.

After working to make your park's trails their best, we will gather together at the picnic area for a boxed lunch, provided by Breezeline. We need a headcount for lunch, so pre-registration is requested. Please call the park at 804-462-5030.
