Come on out to the park and test your paddling skills. Our park interpreter will escort everyone to the private lake on our park property and will then demonstrate some basic techniques and tricks that will help as you venture out onto the water.

Personal Flotation Devices, boats, and paddles will be provided. If you have a small child or a dog that you would like to take out on the water, then you will need to provide your own life jacket for them. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Seats are limited to 14 per trip so be sure to show up early. You can also call our visitor center and reserve a specific date to guarantee your spot on a boat. Fee for the event is $5 a person. Ages 12 and under are free. Parking fees are required to enter the park unless you are a cabin or campground guest.
