People of many cultures have utilized plants to survive, out of which can come special relationships. On this 45-minute walk we will use our senses to relate to and appreciate the textures and aromas of three forest species native to this part of Virginia: Sassafras, Sourwood, and Spicebush. The walk will about ¾ of a mile over moderately level ground with some steeper inclines. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
