Plantable Paper
Get inspired this Spring season while you make your own paper. Use the pre-made "slurry" (the messy stuff) to craft your unique creation. The Park Ranger will show you how fun and easy it is to re-use and recycle potentially discarded paper into a neat keepsake. Add seeds to make a special gift or "plant" your paper in the garden and see what blooms to help our pollinators. Join the Park Ranger to opt out of plastic eggs this Spring by giving back to the planet with our hour-long paper making program for both Easter celebrations.

Pre-registration required. Space is limited. FREE. All programs will start at the Visitor Center.

How to Register: Please leave a message on the Visitor Center answering machine (540) 288-1400 with your name, number of people in the group, and your contact information as well as the name, date and time of program. We will call you back to confirm your spot. Registration over emails will not be accepted.
