May 13, 2023. 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

There is something magical about being outdoors, but when our native plant species ae not able to thrive, the magic starts to dwindle. Reignite that magical spark with an invasive plant clean-up. Join the Park Ranger as we identify invasive plants and work to remove them so that all our critters may enjoy the trails once more. Bring your own gloves and wear closed-toe shoes.

This one-hour event is also a great opportunity for scouts who are working on completing their Environmental Science merit badge.

Pre-registration required. Limit 30 people per program. FREE. All programs will start at the Visitor Center.

How to Register: Please leave a message on the Visitor Center answering machine (540) 288-1400 with your name, number of people in the group, and your contact information as well as the name, date and time of program. We will call you back to confirm your spot. Registration over emails will not be accepted.
