Meet a ranger at the amphitheater trail head to find out why we celebrate Earth Day. Then, embark on a hike to the spillway while discussing the importance of trees, why the photosynthesis process is important, and the benefits they provide to animals and humans. You will also hear about the lost city of Fayerdale, the chestnut blight, beaver activity along the trail, the CCC contribution to Fairy Stone, and Philpott Lake's use of hydroelectric power.
