The Great Backyard Bird Count is a free, fun, citizen science event that engages bird watchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of bird populations. These numbers can be recorded online via birdcount.org helping researchers learn more about how different bird species are doing and how to protect them. Drop by this program to gain knowledgeable insight and resources to help with your own bird identification before lending your time and skill set to this worldwide event. Meet at the Trail Center.
