First Day Hike - A Journey Through Time Walk

This place, this land, is as old as time itself. The sticks, the stones, the lakes, the trees and their leaves--every part of the park has its own story to tell--some millions of years old. During this one-mile trek, a ranger will guide you through this journey through time on Goodwin Lake Trail (~1-mile loop).

Be sure to wear warm, comfortable shoes and clothes, and bring a water bottle if possible. While this trail is rated easy, it is not appropriate for strollers and those with severe mobility issues. To ensure an enjoyable time, please alert park staff to any necessary special accommodations you or your group may need. Parks are for everyone; this is an inclusive program open to all people.
