The Crescent Falls Stock Farm along the New River owned by Haven B. Howe and his wife Katie Cloyd. Howe was one of the leading agricultural farms in Pulaski County in the later part of the 1800s. Much of the fertile farm land is now covered by Claytor Lake, but the home built between 1876-1879 called Crescent Falls and now known as the Haven B. Howe house still stands. This tour will share more history of the Howe/Cloyd family along with history of the Howe house site. This program is presented by the Wilderness Road Regional Museum as part of their 'History of Agriculture' series. Music and light refreshments will be shared.
