Come support our Public Lands in a two-part beach cleaning event!
In the morning, from 9am to 12pm, we will travel to Caledon Marsh beach to pick up trash AND search for fossils! This beach does a lot to protect the marsh, so let's get out there and protect it and the wildlife that lives there. Here is also the best place in the park to look for fossils, so why not do both?
In the afternoon, from 2pm to 5pm, we will take a wagon ride to Jones Pond beach to lead another trash pick-up. Here is a great spot for bird watching, so grab a pair of binoculars during a break and set your sights on the resident raptors of the river!
Please bring water, dress for the weather, and wear close-toed shoes and clothes that you can get wet.
Both beach cleans will only have one wagon ride down to the respective beaches and reservations are required as space is limited. To reserve your spot, give us a call or stop by the Visitor Center. Parking is free on the day of the event.
