Kiptopeke State Park will be holding a Job Fair to recruit seasonal employees for the summer. The Job Fair is scheduled for March 19th 2022 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Current employees will be on hand to talk about seasonal job opportunities, accept applications, and hold on-site interviews. The park is looking to fill positions including Park Interpreters, Contact Rangers, Maintenance Rangers, and Housekeeping. Some of the duties will include leading environmental education programs, providing customer service at the contact station, camp store and visitor center, landscaping, maintenance, light construction, and housekeeping of the campground facilities, and overnight facilities. Seasonal employment lasts from the weekend before Memorial Day through Labor Day. The park plans on grilling hot dogs and providing snacks for those who attend the Job Fair. The Job Fair will take place at the Big Water Visitor Center just outside the entrance of Kiptopeke State Park.
