Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Natural Bridge State Park will have several recurring activities throughout the day including:
-Guided Flower Walk with Master Naturalist Jan Smith. Meet at 10 a.m. at the Blue Ridge Trail parking lot. Hosted by the Virginia Native Plant Society and Virginia Master Naturalists.
-Learn from the Master Gardeners as they teach you about Composting 101. There will be a table set up that you can check out and talk directly to a Master Gardener.
-Grab a tree to take home and plant at our tree and pollinator plant giveaway table and learn information about the importance of native plants and tree planting.
-Find out about our park’s Bee Colonies and why bees are a fundamental part of our ecosystem.
-Sign up for our Stewardship Saturday volunteer crew where you can make an earth-conscious difference all year long!
