Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Youth can make a big impact by reducing, reusing and recycling. For Earth Day this year, we are welcoming children to learn more about how they can improve the earth, a little bit at a time. We will be doing a craft and playing some games geared to the three R’s of conservation. You are also welcome to stay for a service project to help keep the park safe and beautiful. This program is best intended for children under the age of 12. Registration is limited. Register here. Parking fees apply.

**Throughout the program, all program participants including park staff, volunteers, and park visitors will be asked to maintain appropriate social distancing of at least 6 feet. Face coverings are requested for all visitors in all facilities and outdoors when physical distancing is not possible.
