Before modern medicine and the development of pharmacies, the native people and settlers relied on the use of natural plants to heal their ailments. Join Master Naturalist Carrie Sparks as she explores the interesting plants found within the park and illuminates how they were used. This will be a moderate walk around Hungry Mother's wetlands so wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing. Bring water as well.
