When

Feb. 19, 2022. 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

The stillness in winter is a great time to view and listen for birds at the park. Whether a pro or a novice, you're welcome to join Kaycee Lichliter and Lori Mumaw, as they look at and discuss different types of birds that call Seven Bends State Park home. This informal walk will be about a mile in length, stopping periodically to point out different birds and learn about the success of the parks bluebird box trail. Meet at the picnic shelter at the Lupton access point. We will hike down Lupton Rd, take a right on Eagles Edge Trail and circle back around back to the picnic shelter. Be sure to bring binoculars if you have some and dress for the weather. Please register here.

Throughout the program, all program participants including park staff, volunteers, and park visitors will be asked to maintain appropriate social distancing of at least 6 feet. Face coverings are requested for all visitors in all facilities and outdoors when physical distancing is not possible.
