This year's "First Day Hike" event will be a self-guided Scavenger Hunt with clues found on all of our hiking trails and a few other points of interest. For those successfully completing the challenge, which will be scored at the Visitor Center, a unique prize will be awarded commemorating the special New Year occasion.

Four-legged family members are always welcome so long as they are on a leash no more than six feet in length and under the control of their handlers at all times.
