Meet at the Visitor Center for a Park Ranger led hike of the River Bank Trail. The trail meanders along the Staunton and Dan Rivers boasting many beautiful overlooks. Enjoy winter views from the Point, which is the confluence of the Dan and Staunton Rivers forming Buggs Island Lake (John H. Kerr Reservoir), the largest lake in Virginia. The guided hike is approximately 2.5 miles and is rated as moderate.
