Travel back in time as we explore the hidden history behind Virginia's Hidden River: the Clinch.

Join a park ranger on a 4-mile hike along the Clinch River and to the ruins of a failed French settlement on top of Sugar Hill. Along the way, we will discuss the historical significance of the Clinch River and its early inhabitants. Meet at the Sugar Hill Loop Trail head at Oxbow Lake Dam. This is a moderate hike so please wear sturdy shoes, bring a bottle of water, a hiking stick, and dress for cooler weather.
