Walk off that turkey dinner on a Friday morning hike along Quarter Lane. Join a ranger to walk through history from the mid-1820s through the 1920s, and discover what the existing buildings tell us about the people who lived and worked on the plantation. Plantation owners, enslaved peoples, sharecroppers, and tenant farmers all occupied the many buildings between the River House and the Historic Jones-Stewart Mansion. Meet at Farm and Forestry Museum Parking Lot. Walk is approximately 0.5 miles (one way).
