Tired of being stuck home all day? Ready to get away from the sofa or desk and do something that will not only benefit you, but others, too? Now more than ever, we need the help of people just like you. Join our Twin Lakes team--become a volunteer!

For an hour on Sunday, you can experience the life of a park ranger by lending a helping hand as we work to manage, protect, and interpret the natural and cultural resources found within our park. We have countless volunteer opportunities available, some of which include:

-Checking trails for fallen trees, debris, or trash

-Assisting with pollinator garden upkeep

-Shoreline cleanup

-Photographing the park

-Facility upkeep

-Creating art for the park

Choose one from the list above that compliments your interests/talents, or email Breanna.Doll@dcr.virginia.gov to discover more options, or schedule another time to volunteer.

For everyone's safety, social distancing between individuals not from the same household is enforced. Face coverings are required in all park facilities and where social distancing is not possible. Please visit https://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/besafe before your visit.
