Take your child on an adventure of learning and becoming a part of our York River State Park family. The Junior Ranger Booklet and Backpack is a ticket to adventure to the natural world. The booklet is full of activities such as scavenger hunts, bird and leaf, identification, and making your own plan for outdoor stewardship. The backpack is filled with guide books, viewing equipment, fossil hunting tools, and other gear to help enhance your child's day in the park. Come to the gift shop/park office from 9 am to 3 pm to check out a backpack and purchase a Junior Ranger booklet.

Extra fee: $5 for the booklet. The backpack is free.
