Bentonville, Va. – The highly anticipated Bluebell Festival will return to Raymond R. "Andy" Guest, Jr. Shenandoah River State Park on April 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This special event welcomes spring with a stunning display of Virginia bluebells carpeting the park’s scenic trails along the Shenandoah River.

Visitors can enjoy guided nature walks, ranger-led educational programs and a variety of family-friendly activities that highlight the park’s rich biodiversity. The festival will also feature live music, local artisan vendors and food trucks.

“Shenandoah River State Park is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife,” said Park Manager Dustin Haymaker. “The Bluebell Festival is an excellent opportunity for visitors to experience the park at one of the most picturesque times of the year.”

Admission to the festival is included with the standard parking fee of $10 per passenger vehicle. For more details, including vendor opportunities, visit virginiastateparks.gov/events or call 540-622-6840.
