Kiptopeke State Park will host a Job Fair March 9
On-site interviews will be held

EASTERN SHORE, VA. – Kiptopeke State Park will be hosting a Job Fair to recruit seasonal employees for the summer. 

The Job Fair will take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Big Water Visitor Center located just outside of the entrance to Kiptopeke State Park. Staff will be on-site to discuss job opportunities, accept applications and hold interviews. 

“We are planning to fill several positions and are excited to have the opportunity to talk directly to interested applicants,” said Kiptopeke State Park Manager Sean Dixon. “If you have a passion for nature enjoy working outdoors and are willing to learn new skills, we encourage you to come out and talk to us about a job.” 

Positions available at the park include Interpretive Ranger, Contact Ranger, Maintenance Ranger, Waterfront Attendant, Retail Attendant and Housekeeping Supervisor. Applicants must be willing to work weekends and holidays as well as have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 

“Make Kiptopeke State Park your office this year and enjoy a unique and fulfilling job while building your skillsets,” said Kiptopeke State Park Assistant Manager Stephanie Venarchick. “Seasonal jobs are a great way to start your career working in Virginia State Parks.”
